Bumper Stickers

I've always appreciated the fine art of the bumper sticker.

A bumper sticker is poetry involving a complex idea cleverly reduced to the number of words that can be fit on a small piece of paper in big letters and absorbed at a red light.

It is American Haiku, a formalized popular form of poetry defined by a tight but flexible set of constraints and connected to the primary form of American religious expression and worship, the automobile.

A good bumper sticker is so hard to define but, by God, I know it when I see it.

Since I think of bumper stickers constantly as I drive around I've decided to keep a list here. Usually I endorse the sentiment. In some cases however, I include one here that makes me laugh even though I wouldn't want to be associated with the sentiment.

A good bumper sticker makes me feel like I'm done thinking for the day.

Is there anything so trite as a bumper sticker?
